Good to know
When to go
Late spring to early autumn is best, when everything is open: the Roman villa (27 March – 26 September 2027), the Abbey Museum, Beaufort and Larochette castles (15 March – 15 November) and the lake's swimming area (1 May – 30 September). In October the valleys are beautiful in autumn colours. In winter some sights close and the rock trails are slippery after rain.
Closed days
- Roman Villa Echternach (Villa romaine, Réimervilla) — closed: Monday
